Award-Winning Architectural & Interior Design
Designed by Hewitt Architects' David Hewitt, recipient of the AIA Seattle Medal for distinguished achievement in architecture, Mural is not your average apartment building. Mural reflects its namesake both inside and out by virtue of its vibrant colors and artistic animation. It features original mural art by West Seattle artist Kelly Rae Cunningham located in the lobby entrance — and lit up beautifully at night for residents and passers by to appreciate — and artwork located near the elevators on every floor. Mural is the art of living in West Seattle.
Pet Friendly Spaces
For many, pets are a big part of Westside living. That's why Mural is designed to be pet-friendly right down to the durable floor finishes. Mural is also conveniently located within two blocks of local pet stores including PETCO & Next to Nature natural pet supplies, several veterinary hospitals, and Dog Trots - dog walking, training and development services, and Wash Dog where you can pamper your pet with full service grooming or bond with your pet in the Do-it-Yourself style bathing facility.
Entertainment Lounge
Just off the lobby floor and adjacent to the fit center is Mural's versatile entertainment lounge. Featuring an adjoining outdoor entertainment deck complete with barbeques, the lounge offers a kitchen, flat screen TV, mobile furniture, and pull-apart tables to accommodate multiple seating options for different group dynamics. This space also features a large display wall for rotating community art exhibits.
Twilight Artist Collective is excited to be teaming up with West Seattle's Mural Apartments by curating the Gallery with fresh, local artwork! Twilight was established in 2005 by three artists looking to create a sustainable artist community, and provide a venue for appreciation and inspiration of fine art in Seattle.
Bike Room
Located in the garage for easy in and out access, the bike room features 40 parking spaces to lock up your bike so you don't have to worry about where to store your wheels! Have a vintage ride you'd like to keep behind closed doors? Private storage lockers are also available. Mural also offers an outdoor bike rack for guests.
Riding around West Seattle is a great way to get to know the neighborhood, and bike commuting is popular for residents who work in and around West Seattle or downtown. Visit Alki Bike & Board in the Admiral Junction or Aaron's Bicycle Repair in the Morgan Junction for advice on commuting routes, safety gear, and how to fix a flat.
Workout Room
Featuring two treadmills, an exercise bike, elliptical trainer, free weights, and individual flat screen TVs, the fit center also offers north facing windows for great natural light while keeping you cool during workouts.
Roof Deck
A small, cozy space with big views of the Seattle skyline, the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound, Mural features an intimate, landscaped roof deck complete with a fire pit — a little taste of nature in the city. Don't forget to bring your s'mores!

Mural is a secure building offering key card controlled access for all entrances including the garage.
